To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many prisoner escapes from (a) establishments and (b) escorts there were in 1994–95 in (i) London and (ii) England and Wales. [32537]
Responsibility for this matter has been delegated to the Director General of the Prison Service, who has been asked to arrange for a reply to be given.
