To ask the Secretary of State for Education if she will publish a table showing the latest available figures for the number of students in each local authority in England and Wales undertaking courses of further education aged (a) 16 to 18 years and (b) 19 years and over; and what proportion of these age groups was not in receipt of any discretionary award. The number of students in each LEA in England who are undertaking further education (a) aged 16 to 18 years and (b) 19 years and over; and the estimated proportion of each of these age groups who do not receive an award under section 2 of the Education Act 1962, are shown in the following table.
