To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage if she will make a statement on the work her Department has carried out in the last 12 months in making information about her Department available to the public via the Government World Wide Web server known as www.open.gov.uk and her plans and policies to make additional and new information available electronically on the server in the next 12 months. [34681]

The Department of National Heritage is aware of the pilot Government World Wide Web server. The Department is considering the publication of material on the World Wide Web and DNH press notices are already available on the World Wide Web from the COI on http://www.coi.gov.uk/coi/depts/GHE/GHE.html.
