To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department on what grounds the Metropolitan Police Committee meets in private; and if he will make a statement. [35183]

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to the hon. Member for Hornsey and Wood Green (Mrs. Roche) on 3 July, Official Report, column 26. Policy advice to Ministers is confidential.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will list all the members of the Metropolitan Police Committee; how they were chose; and what were their attributes and qualifications for being appointed to the committee; [35054](2) if he will make public

(a) all the recommendations of the Metropolitan Police Committee and (b) whether they have been accepted or rejected. [35055]
