To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many deaths from hypothermia took place among (a) men aged 65 years and over and (b) women aged 60 years and over in each year from 1990, by region. [34178]

[holding answer 13 July 1995]: The information requested for 1993 is shown in the table. I refer the hon. Member to the reply that I gave him on 25 November 1992, Official Report, columns 731–33, for information for the years 1990 and 1991, and to the reply that I gave him on 4 November 1993, Official Report, column 456 for 1992 information.
