To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will publish a table showing the British shares of the market for manufacturers in (a) the EFTA group, (b) the EEC six, (c) the Irish Republic and (d) the Commonwealth in (i) 1970, (ii) 1979, (iii) 1985 and (iv) 1994. [36204]

The information for the Commonwealth and for 1970 can be obtained only at disproportionate cost. The available information is given in the following table.
