To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the rights of individual members of the public to make complaints to any of the appropriate ombudsmen about services or projects funded through the private finance initiative in his Department. Members of the public have the right to make representations to the appropriate ombudsman about any service or project provided by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office—diplomatic wing or Overseas Development Administration—including those funded under the private finance initiative.
