To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a further statement on progress towards the decommissioning of arms and explosives held by paramilitary groups in Northern Ireland. [36901]

No paramilitary arms or equipment have been decommissioned to date. The Government believe that progress on this issue is essential to create the necessary trust and confidence for successful all-party talks. I remain hopeful that progress can, and will, be made.
