To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the circumstances of the damage to Jaguar T.2A, serial number XX839; and what is the current status of the aircraft. [38119]

During a routine major servicing of Jaguar T.2A, serial number XX839, some relatively small stress corrosion cracks were identified in part of the fuselage structure. The aircraft is being held temporarily at St. Athan awaiting delivery of repair parts from the manufacturer.
