To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list the members of the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting and the bodies responsible for appointing these members; and to whom they are responsible. [38390]
The council has 60 members, of whom 40 are elected by the professions and 20 are appointed by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State. The council is required to submit an annual report and accounts to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State.
