Mr. Flynn
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is Her Majesty's Government's policy towards Iran following the parliamentary human rights group's report on the position of women in Iran. [38769]
Mr. Hanley
Our policy on Iran remains unchanged since the reply given by my right hon. and learned Friend the Member for Grantham (Mr. Hogg) on 25 January 1994 at column 144. We are concerned about the situation of women in Iran and raise this matter whenever appropriate.
