To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment which local education authorities have school reorganisation or closure proposals under consideration by her Department; how many surplus places will be removed by each local education authority as a result of their proposals; and which authorities, since the submission of their proposal to her Department, have been waiting for a decision for (a) up to three months, (b) three to six months, (c) six to none months, (d) nine to 12 months and (e) in excess of 12 months.
