The investment appraisal into the future location of driver training was produced by a member of management accountancy services (Army), the MOD's own internal management accountancy service. All members of the service are qualified management accountants.The management accountant and other members of the study team interviewed a number of civilian and military personnel at each of the sites visited. Information was also obtained by telephone, by facsimile and by letter. The management accountant and the study team also visited policy and finance staffs in the services.
