To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Adjournment debate of 11 June, Official Report, columns 1253–60, if he will review his approach to the United Nations policy on sanctions against Libya, on the basis of the film which has been sent to him relating to the death of WPC Yvonne Fletcher. The United Nations Security Council resolutions set out the requirements which Libya must meet before sanctions are lifted. These requirements do not relate to the murder of WPC Fletcher.
