To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what assessment her Department has made of the effects of the Gloucestershire judgment relating to the provision of statutory services; and if she will make a statement. [17363]

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health has the lead responsibility for the implications of the Gloucestershire judgment. The judgment does not have any effect on DSS provisions.
