To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many of the published scientific papers on the safety of vitamin B6 were studied (a) in full and (b) in summary or abstract by (i) the Chairman and (ii) the members of the Committee on Toxicity prior to it making recommendations on the safety of vitamin B6. All the scientific papers on the toxicity of vitamin B6 identified by literature searches and supplied by interested parties were available to the Chairman and the members of the Committee on Toxicity before making their recommendations.
