To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with Liberal Democrat Members using the Joint Consultative Committee mechanism. [67056]

[holding answer 25 January 1999]: I have attended several meetings of the Joint Consultative Committee since its inception.I have also had one bilateral meeting with the Liberal Democrat spokesman on foreign affairs and defence.
