To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many visits abroad have been made by officials in the Export Promotion Directorate since 1 January. [77746]

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many staff are employed in his Department's Export Promotion Directorate; and of these how many are (a) women and (b) from ethnic minorities. [77745]

The Department currently employs 632 staff in the Export Promotion Directorates, of these (a) 255 are female and (b) 118 are known to be from ethnic minorities.
