To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what was his Department's policing budget in cash terms and at 1998–99 prices for (a) 1992–93, (b) 1993–94, (c) 1994–95, (d) 1995–96, (e) 1996–97, (f) 1997–98 and (g) 1998–99; and what is his estimate for (i) 1999–2000, (ii) 2000–01 and (iii) 2001–02.
