To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how much of the windfall tax allocation for the New Deal for 18 to 24-year-olds was spent in 1998–99 in total; and what percentage of that total was spent on (a) administration of the scheme, (b) Gateway provision and (c) provision of options.
