The following table shows estimated UK emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO₂) from 1997 to 2000 (the latest year for which data are available). Data since 1970 on UK emissions of air pollutants, including sulphur dioxide, are published annually in the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI), which can be found at the NAEI website, http://www.naei.org.uk.
