To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether (a) parents and (b) relatives of deceased persons are entitled to refuse a hospital postmortem. [101938]

Hospital post mortems are only carried out with the consent of the parents, legal guardian or relative of the deceased, as appropriate.
