To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many children in prison are being held on the basic regime under the Incentives and Earned Privileges scheme. [101065]

The figures for the number of children being held on each level under the Rewards and Sanctions Scheme (formerly known as the Incentives and Earned Privileges Scheme), including those on basic, on 4 March 2003 are set out in the following table:
