To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how man architects have been referred to the disciplinary committee of the Architects Registration Board (a) before being taken to court and (b) after court proceedings in each of the last five ears. [103313]

The number of architects referred to the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) of the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in each of the last five ears is as follows:

Data are not held centrally, and may not have been disclosed to ARB, on whether legal proceedings have been taken after a finding of fault b the PCC. Data on whether legal proceedings material to the case have preceded a hearing b the PCC would be available only at disproportionate cost.
