To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs pursuant to the Answer of 18 March 2003, Official Report column 639W, on English Nature, if she will estimate (a) the administrative cost for English Nature broken down by Government Region for financial year 2003–04 and (b) the amount spent in English Nature's Headquarters on the regions for financial year 2003–04. English Nature's baseline Grant in Aid for 2003–04 will be £62.884 million. Of this, in so far as spending in the Government Regions, the following expenditure has been estimated:
