To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what recent discussions he has had with (a) the Mayor of London and (b) the Metropolitan Police Authority regarding community support officers. [106860]

My right hon. Friend the Home Secretary has recently met with the Metropolitan Police Authority and with the Mayor of London. Community Support Officers were discussed at these meetings.
