To ask the Deputy Prime Minister what funding his Department allocated in (a) 2001, (b) 2002 and (c) 2003 to the regional technical advisory bodies in the (i) South East, (ii) South West, (iii) North East, (iv) North West, (v) East Midlands, (vi) West Midlands, (vii) Yorkshire and the Humber and (viii) East of England Region. [110220]

The Regional Technical Advisory Bodies on waste (RTABs) are funded by their constituent authorities. In addition, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has provided the following ad hoc funding to assist RTABs in the preparation of their regional waste strategies.
