To ask the Secretary of State for Health what recent assessment his Department has made of the impact of casualties from the war in Iraq upon the NHS; and if he will make a statement.[105099]

The National Health Service has a responsibility for treating any military patients brought back to the United Kingdom. All trusts have effective contingency plans in place to ensure NHS services are not affected.
