Friend the Secretary of State for Health has regular meetings with the British Medical Association and other representative bodies of the medical profession to discuss a range of issues.Department officials are in regular contact with the Council of Heads of Medical Schools, whose membership normally includes the Head or Dean of each university medical school in the United Kingdom and Colleges of the University of London with a medical school.
