To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many cases of Weils disease there were in each of the last five years for which figures are available. [110150]

The numbers of cases of human leptospirosis (Wells Disease) in England and Wales reported to the Health Protection Agencys Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre over the last five years are shown in the table.
