To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many cases have been referred to the Criminal Cases Review Commission since March 1997. [92312]

Pursuant to the answer given by my hon. Friend the Member for Leeds, Central (Hilary Benn) on 28 January 2003, Official Report, column 754W. Due to an administrative error, the number of applications received that prove to be ineligible for case review, is estimated to be at least "a quarter" and not "three quarters" as originally written.
