To ask the Minister of State for International Development pursuant to the answer of 30 April 2003, Official Report, column 394W, on secondments, if he will list the organisations to which civil servants in his Department have been seconded since 1997–98 in (a) the private sector, (b) NGOs and (c) other, stating in each case the dates of the secondments, the number of civil servants seconded to that organisation and their grade. The following statistics relate to secondments started in each financial year. Information on location is not available for years 1998–99 to 2000–01. The statistics for this period are based on annual returns to Cabinet Office.
