To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills pursuant to his answer of 22 May 2003, Offical Report, column 1002W, on document costs, what the budget was allocated to each policy team, for expenditure on documents, brochures, leaflets and consultation papers in 2002–03; and what budget he has allocated to individual policy teams for expenditure on documents, brochures, leaflets and consultation papers in 2003–04. Programme budgets within the Department are not allocated specifically to categories of expenditure such as the production of documents, brochures, leaflets and consultation papers, the information requested is therefore not available in the form requested.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills pursuant to his written answer of 22 May 2003, Official Report, column 1002W, on document costs, what estimate he has made of the cost to his Department of public relations and media consultants in the publication of documents, brochures, leaflets and consultation papers in each of the last five years for which information is available. The Department has not published any documents, brochures, leaflets and consultation papers through public relations or media consultants in the last five years.
