To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what compensation or other payments were made by her Department on behalf of the Crown to (a) Chinese businesses and (b) the Chinese community in the northeast following the accusations that Chinese restaurants were responsible for foot and mouth.
