To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the navigation costs imposed on shipping using the English Channel. [R] [124751]

Trinity House Lighthouse Service (THLS) makes no specific charge for aids to navigation in the English Channel. All services provided by THLS are met by light dues levied on commercial shipping calling at UK and Republic of Ireland ports. The costs are not identified separately by area.
