To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what funding has been allocated to educate young people in (a) North Belfast and (b) Northern Ireland against the dangers of drug use in each year since 1997. [123803]

It is not possible to quantify the amount of money spent on drug education for young people in schools, as drug education programmes are, for the most part, delivered as part of the statutory curriculum and funded through schools' normal LMS budgets. Additional funding has been provided as set out in the table. It is not possible to identify separately funding allocated to North Belfast.
