To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what inquiries he has made since the death of Dr. David Kelly concerning Dr. Kelly's record of claims for subsistence allowances or expenses; and for what purposes these inquiries were made. [128817]

The Ministry of Defence has examined a number of Dr. Kelly's claims in order to provide the Hutton Inquiry with the details of some of his more Information on the number of consultation documents issued and the number of responses received is reproduced in the following table:recent overseas visits, and to determine whether money was owed to him at the time of his death as a result of expenses incurred but unclaimed.
