To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make representations to the Portuguese Ambassador requesting that he require staff at his office in London to acknowledge and respond to correspondence from hon. Members. [130845]

The Portuguese Chargé d'Affaires has assured the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that the Portuguese Embassy are committed to responding to all correspondence which they receive, including that from hon. Members.
