Television Licence (Second Homes)

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how much the BBC raised in licence fees from second homes in each of the last five years. (73548)

[holding answer 25 May 2006]: The information requested is not collected centrally. The fact that a property is a second home is not relevant to the television licensing requirements, except for people aged 75 or over, who receive free licences for their main address only.
