To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what plans there are for the Higher Education Funding Council to administer (a) Sussex university and (b) the University of Brighton; and if he will make a statement. (83034)

There are currently no plans for the Higher Education Funding Council for England to administer or otherwise intervene in the affairs of either university.
