To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many former (a) MI5 and (b) MI6 agents have been imprisoned in the UK in each of the last five years; and if he will make a statement. (82919)

It is the established policy of successive Governments not to make public information that could assist in the identification of agents of the intelligence and security services.
