To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many of his Department’s civil servants work full-time to support departmental special advisers; and what the pay bands are of each such civil servant. (95134)

The special advisers to the Chancellor of the Exchequer are supported by three full-time staff: one at range E, one at range D and one at range C.
