To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment she has made of trends in refusals by the Israeli Government of permits for Palestinians holding foreign passports to enter, re-enter or continuously reside in the Occupied Territories. (95346)

Since spring 2006 the Israeli authorities have been more strictly enforcing entry procedures towards foreign nationals who wish to visit the Occupied Territories. We estimate that hundreds of foreign nationals have been refused entry. Our embassy in Tel Aviv raised our concerns with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 21 August.
