To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what funding she plans to allocate to the decibel Penguin prize in each of the next five years. (100967)

For 2006-07 the decibel Penguin prize and anthology has been allocated £8,000 in support from Arts Council England. The Arts Council has committed to working with Penguin on two further volumes but funding allocations for future years have not yet been made.
