To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what the national average percentage of candidates achieving five or more GCSEs at grades A* to C including English and mathematics was in the last 12 months, broken down by ethnic origin of candidates. (100584)

The following table shows the percentage of pupils at the end of Key Stage 4 in 2005 achieving five plus A* to C at GCSE and equivalent including English and mathematics by ethnicity.
