International Baccalaureate

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many schools in England offer the International Baccalaureate; and how many did so in (a) 1997 and (b) 2001. (101957)

The available information is given in the table.

The number of pupils following the International Baccalaureate in maintained secondary schools is only available from 2002 onwards.
