To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what account he will take of his Department's New Approach to Appraisal criteria on value for money when he evaluates the M6 widening project between junctions 11A and 19, with particular reference to (a) the non-monetised impacts and (b) the carbon dioxide impacts. In assessing the value for money of the M6 project between junctions 11A and 19 the DfT will take account of the impacts against all of the criteria considered under New Approach to Appraisal (NATA). This will include the non-monetised impacts as well as the impacts that are monetised, such as carbon dioxide impacts.
