To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment he has made of the impact of the Association of Chief Police Officers' policy of directing enforcement against prostitution at those creating the demand for street-based sex markets. (110443)

This assessment will be based largely on the numbers of arrests and prosecutions for the offences of kerb crawling and persistent soliciting for the purposes of prostitution. Figures for the period since the Government published their co-ordinated strategy on prostitution are not yet available.
