To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what the change has been in his Department’s IT workforce since the Gershon Review; and how many of the IT posts have been outsourced. (109515)

In July 2004, when the Gershon Review was published the number of staff in the Department’s central IT function was 1,232. There are now around 420. There has been no outsourcing of any IT posts.
