To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what her estimate is of the number of (a) documents and (b) pages of material translated into languages other than English by local authorities in each of the last five years; and what the cost of providing such translations was in each year. Friend the Secretary of State has asked the Commission on Integration and Cohesion to consider this issue as part of its report to be produced in June 2007.
